Reviews from our customers

Parents of Louise Eldridge, Northern School of Contemporary Dance (2017). As parents of a 16 year old, leaving home for the first time, you can imagine the nervousness and trepidation we felt around so many aspects of the move. Renting with Fab Student Homes eased so many of these. 34 Elford Grove was clean and well presented. Mo took us through the renting process in a concise and easy to understand manner, happy to answer any questions, no matter how trivial. Throughout the tenancy, Mo's response to issues was swift, fixing the problem without delay. He was happy to take calls and e-mails directly from ourselves, always replying promptly - nothing was too much trouble. The end of tenancy process was handled in the same helpful manner. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Fab. 5-Star service! Simon & Liz Eldridge.

Eleni Green, Northern School of Contemporary Dance (2022). I lived on Elford Grove with Fab Student homes for all three years of my training at NSCD, in two different properties. Having Mo as a landlord helped my transition from living at home to living in Leeds because he always provided us with clear and understandable instruction and guidance. I felt that any questions that I asked were taken seriously and with respect and understanding which made leaving home a relaxed learning experience. Any issues we experienced throughout the 3 years were dealt with quickly and properly, even problems that didn’t require urgent attention. We have all enjoyed the houses very much as they are spacious and well cared for in comparison to many of the other student housing options. My housemates and I have felt supported and at home in the Fab Student Homes properties and would definitely recommend Mo to anyone about to move to Leeds.

Anouska Lukacs, Northern School of Contemporary Dance (2022). I am so grateful to have found such a great place to live during my time at Northern. I was very uncertain about moving away from home however 20 Elford Grove has been nothing but a second home to me. The house is clean, spacious and full of character, making it feel comfortable and homely. All bedrooms are nicely decorated and perfectly sized. The house is well furnished and all in very good condition. Whenever a problem has arisen it has been fixed instantly by Mo who is an excellent landlord. Finally, the location is great as it is only a 10/15 minute walk from NSCD and has bus stops nearby making journeys into the city centre quick and easy. I have no complaints about Elford Grove and am very impressed by our landlord Mo who has been extremely helpful and attentive.

Marit Meloe, Northern School of Contemporary Dance (2017). I lived in 22 Darfield Crescent in the first year of my degree at NSCD. It is a beautiful, homely house that I quickly learned to love. It is a perfect size for two people with two lovely, big bedrooms. The kitchen is modern and the bathroom is big and light. A thing that I really loved about the apartment is that it is always in the sun which means that you can have bright light shining through the windows all day long, as well as enjoying the sun in the small garden in front of the house. There are plenty of local, small shops in the area around the house, and just a couple of minutes away a big supermarket. Mo is a fantastic landlord. He always reply to your questions or queries and gives you advice if needed. If it is anything wrong in the house he is very quick to fix it. He really wants the best for his customers and I will absolutely recommend both him and the flat to future students.

Silva Rawnsley, Northern School of Contemporary Dance (2022). I have been living at 9 Elford Grove for a year now and it has been the best possible experience of renting. The house is lovely and the sort of place that feels easily like a home and not just a house. The rooms are all really good sizes and all the appliances are pretty new and work like a dream. Mo is a great landlord. He is super committed to making renting with them the best possible experience. He has been so helpful in making moving to a new city stress free, from helping to explain any query I might have about living in Harehills to dealing with even the smallest of issues with the property quickly, professionally and with great care. He is a very respectful and always considerate of what his tenants might need. I look forward to continuing my tenancy with Fab Student Homes.

Yann Yame, University of Leeds (2022). I lived at 22 Elford Grove during 2021-22. I was pleasantly surprised by the great condition of the house, the very affordable rent and the location - everything you need is nearby. The highlight of the year was the landlord, Mo. He is very responsive, helping his tenants in the best and quickest way possible. It makes it very reassuring to have such a reliable landlord. His impeccable work ethic, friendliness and understanding smoothens the experience, with any issues being addressed and resolved straight away. He has everything one should look for in a landlord. I would totally recommend him and his properties.

Maya Donne, Northern School of Contemporary Dance (2023). My experience of renting 10 Elford Grove has been effortless and enjoyable, with Mo as my landlord. Mo tended to any issue with a friendly and prompt manner, supporting us to have the best possible living experience alongside our studying. The level of understanding Mo had toward any request has been greatly supportive to me and my housemates throughout our first year of university. The perfect house for NSCD students, being a 10-minute walk away. I highly recommend renting with Mo.

Anita Depaoli, Northern School of Contemporary Dance (2023). I’m so glad to have lived at 34 & 12 Elford Grove for the whole of my 3 years at NSCD. Credit goes undeniably to the remarkable care and unwavering dedication of its owner, Mo. The houses are in perfect condition, super-equipped and give you the opportunity to have your own spaces. From the beginning I have always felt safe and the best memory is the welcome received both from the environment and from Mo who has always been available and I think his dedication made the difference. His constant availability and efforts have been instrumental in ensuring the continuous flow of life here, and I strongly believe it is his unparalleled commitment that has really set Elford Grove apart and made all the difference in my experience.
